RUTILE QUARTZ

The Golden Rutile Quartz aka. Venus-hair stone, attracting the eyes to it's interesting and complex formations. Usually found as jewelry, this stone is very popular in recent years and has high benefits metaphysically. 

FORMATION

rutile quartz is a crystalline form of silica with inclusions of the mineral ‘rutile’, which forms as clusters of needles. Minerals may vary from titanium to tourmaline. If these two minerals are forming at the same time, the titanium or mineral needles will get trapped inside the transparent quartz. This produces the hair-like gold and silver color threads that reflect light inside of the quartz.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES

The stone itself promotes high spiritual awareness, cleansing and and energizing auras while expelling negative energies. Known to absorb mercury poisoning from nerves, muscles, blood etc. Helpful for cell regeneration and can accelerate the repair of torn tissues.
